Your first 10 minutes

A quick checklist to get your team up and running.

This is the fastest path from a new account to a working compliance score in your CRM. Each step links to a fuller article if you need more detail.

New accounts start on a 14-day free trial, which defaults to the Basic plan. You can upgrade to Premium at any time from Company & Billing - you don't need to decide this on day one.

The checklist

1
Invite your team

Add the admins and compliance staff who'll configure rules, and anyone else who needs to log into Salescheck.io directly. See Inviting a teammate.

2
Connect your CRM

Link HubSpot, Pipedrive, or Salesforce so scores can be written back to your lead, company, or deal records. See Connecting your CRM.

3
Set up your risk categories

Decide on the tiers you want to score against - the defaults are Green, Yellow, and Red, but names and colors are yours to change. See Setting up risk categories.

4
Create a few rules

Add country, MCC, and NAICS rules that map real-world values to your risk categories - for example, a rule that flags a specific country as Red. Start small; you can add more later. See Creating rules.

5
Run a manual test

Before trusting the setup on real records, use the Score tester to plug in a country, MCC, or company name and confirm you get the verdict you expect. See Using the Score tester.

6
Optional: connect a 3rd-party data source

On Premium, you can connect OpenCorporates, Sanctions.io, ComplyAdvantage, or TRM Labs to add extra signals into every score alongside your own rules. See 3rd-party data sources overview.

Once your CRM is connected and at least one rule exists, every new lead, company, or deal is scored automatically - no further action needed from your reps.
