My Google Sheets rule sync isn't updating

Common causes and how to re-check the connection.

Google Sheets rule sync (Beta, Premium) pulls a connected sheet into a rule type on a scheduled job that runs roughly every 5 minutes. If edits to your sheet aren't showing up as updated rules, work through the checks below in order.

This is a Beta feature available on Premium plans. If you haven't set it up yet, start with Syncing rules from Google Sheets for the setup steps and expected sheet format.

Likely causes

Check this

1
Give it a few minutes first

Sync runs on a roughly 5-minute schedule, not immediately after you edit the sheet. If you just made a change, wait for at least one sync cycle before assuming something's broken.

2
Confirm the sheet is still shared with the connected account

If sharing permissions were changed or the sheet was moved to a different Drive/folder with tighter access, Salescheck.io loses read access silently. Re-check that the account used to connect still has view access to the sheet.

3
Check the sync status in the app

Open the rule type's Google Sheets sync settings and look for a last-synced timestamp or status indicator. A status that hasn't moved past an old timestamp points at a stalled connection rather than a formatting issue.

4
Reconnect if the connection looks stale

If the OAuth token has been revoked or expired, disconnect and reconnect Google Sheets for that rule type to re-authorize access.

5
Verify the sheet's column format

Compare your sheet's columns and header row against the expected format in Syncing rules from Google Sheets. A renamed header, an inserted column, or an unexpected extra tab can cause the sync to skip rows without an obvious error.

Because a broken sync fails silently, it's worth spot-checking synced rules periodically rather than only when something looks wrong — especially after anyone reorganizes the sheet or its sharing settings.
