Granting Compliance access

Unlock Risk categories, Rules, and the Audit log for a non-admin.

By default, a Member can't see the Risk categories, Rules, or Audit log pages — those are Admin-only. Compliance access is a separate setting that unlocks just those three pages for a specific Member, without turning them into an Admin.

Why it's separate from role

Compliance access is not a Clerk organization role like Admin or Member — it's its own flag, stored in Salescheck.io and set per person on the Team page. That separation exists because "who manages scoring rules" and "who manages the team and the bill" are usually different people.

A common setup: your compliance officer needs to configure risk categories, write rules, and review the audit trail, but shouldn't be able to invite or remove teammates or see billing. Making them a full Admin would hand over more than they need. Granting them Compliance access as a Member gives them exactly the pages they need to do that job, and nothing else.

Admins always have full access to Risk categories, Rules, and the Audit log — you never need to (and can't) toggle Compliance access for an Admin. The checkbox only applies to Members.

Grant or revoke Compliance access

1
Open Team

In the sidebar, go to Team management → Team. This page is only visible to Admins.

2
Find the person in the Members table

Locate their row. Each Member's row has a Compliance access checkbox.

3
Toggle the checkbox

Check it to grant access to Risk categories, Rules, and the Audit log. Uncheck it to revoke that access — they'll keep normal day-to-day access to Salescheck.io, they just won't see those three pages anymore.

4
Save

Click Save on that row to apply the change. It takes effect immediately.
