Admin vs Member
What each role can see and do.
Every teammate you invite to Salescheck.io is given one of two roles: Admin or
Member. The role controls access to team, billing, and compliance configuration —
it doesn't affect day-to-day scoring, which is available to everyone on the team.
At a glance
| Admin | Member | |
|---|---|---|
| Day-to-day use (viewing scored records, running lookups) | Yes | Yes |
| Manage Team (invite, remove, change roles) | Yes | No |
| Company & Billing settings | Yes | No |
| Risk categories, Rules, Audit log | Yes, always | Only with Compliance access granted |
Admins
Admins have full access to the account. That includes everything a Member can do, plus:
- Managing the Team page — inviting and removing people, changing roles, and granting or revoking Compliance access.
- Managing Company & Billing — plan changes, payment details, and invoices.
- Full access to Risk categories, Rules, and the Audit log by default — Admins never need Compliance access granted separately, they have it implicitly.
Members
Members are built for day-to-day use: reviewing scored companies, running lookups, and working leads and deals in the connected CRM. By default, a Member does not see:
- The Team page, so they can't invite, remove, or manage other users.
- Company & Billing settings.
- Risk categories, Rules, or the Audit log — unless an Admin grants them Compliance access.
A Member who also needs to manage scoring rules or review the audit trail doesn't need to be made an
Admin. Grant them Compliance access instead — it
unlocks exactly those compliance pages without giving them Team or Billing access.
