Connecting TRM Labs
Where to find your TRM Labs API Key and connect it to Salescheck.io.
This step can only be done by a user with the Admin or Compliance role in
Salescheck.io. You'll need your own TRM Labs contract - Salescheck.io only uses your existing key to run lookups on your
behalf.
TRM Labs doesn't offer self-serve signup. Access is enterprise/sales-provisioned - if you don't
already have an account, contact TRM Labs directly to set up a contract before you'll have anything to connect
here.
What this connects
TRM Labs screens a crypto wallet address against sanctions lists. It's triggered whenever a lookup or CRM record
includes a wallet address rather than a company name - this is the one provider aimed at crypto/PSP customers
specifically.
Steps
1
Log in to the TRM Labs portal
Go to my.trmlabs.com and log in with the account TRM set up for your contract.
2
Generate an API token
Click your profile icon (top-right) → Configure Environment → API Tokens in the side
navigation, then create a new API token.
3
Paste it into Salescheck.io
In Salescheck.io, go to Integrations, find the TRM Labs card, paste the token into the
API Key field, and click Connect.
4
Map signals to risk categories
Once connected, map "Wallet sanctioned" to Red. "Wallet not sanctioned" is usually left
unmapped (no effect on scoring).
Salescheck.io's integration covers TRM's free sanctions-screening endpoint only - not TRM's broader paid wallet-risk
scoring product (darknet market exposure, numeric risk scores, etc.), which uses a different, non-public schema.
We don't verify the key until it's actually used for a lookup - a bad or expired key just causes that provider's
check to be skipped for that lookup; local rule-based scoring keeps working regardless.
